Haunted Hayrides in PA

Seems like every year once the weather turns from the hot sizzling summer to the cool autumn breeze people start to want haunted hayrides in PA. One of the best ways to celebrate the Halloween season is to find one of the many haunted hayrides in Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania seems to be the perfect environment to ride through plowed cornfields in the dead of night to absolutely scare the heck out of you and your significant other.

The haunted hayrides in PA have been going on for decades although there is no official record of when the first haunted hayride in pa took place one thing is for sure people have been enjoying them for years. Traditionally these hayrides take place in the fields of a farm. People load up in wagons filled with hay and are driven usually by tractor through a maze of darkness. Along the way unexpected surprises usually await the unsuspecting patrons in the back everything from zombies to werewolves and everything in between.

Many of the haunted attractions in PA also appeal to the younger crowd with a more kid friendly haunted hayride developed for the toddlers. These are usually given during the daytime and the kids seem to really enjoy just riding in a wagon filled with hay. Many of these haunted hayrides also have other haunted attractions as well such as haunted houses, haunted trails, 3D mazes and more. In Pennsylvania many of these haunted attractions run from the last weekend in September through the first week of November with the second and third week of October being the busiest time to enjoy this great activity.

Here's an insiders tip: go on a Sunday night or early in the season to avoid the lines and waits. If you want to wait till the height of Halloween season to get your fright on then I would suggest investing in a VIP pass. VIP passes are becoming popular and run usually an extra $15 to $25 per person but they get you in to the front of the line. So the next time you are in keystone state check out some of the many haunted hayrides in PA that will help you celebrate this spooky time of year.
